Located at 2701 Linden Ave, Dayton, OH 45410, King Tire & Mechanic operates as a tire shop serving Dayton in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ7 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 206 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded tire shops in Dayton.
Dayton is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dayton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I took my car in for a control arm repair against my better judgement and they lost a part on my vehicle. my brake pad was completely missing and they tried to charge me 350 dollars to repair it. This same shop left lug nuts loose on my tire and were unprofessional. Please avoid this shop if you value your vehicle and money.

Absolutely incredible service! Helped us out when we were an hour away from home and got a flat on 75. Very quick and well priced. Even gave us waters when we left.

Quality work at a great price. Extremely friendly and hospitable. They even insisted I have some food when they sat down for lunch. You're not gonna get that anywhere else. Can't recommend these guys enough. I'll definitely be back in the future π

Absolutely terrible experience. I had winter tires installed here, and when I came back in the spring to switch them out, it turned into a nightmare. They cross-threaded 4 lug nuts across 2 wheels during the original install. Because of that, the studs were damaged and started snapping off during removal. One even broke while THEY were working on it, and instead of taking responsibility, they tried to blame it on βwhoever did the brakesβ even though they were the last ones to touch the wheels. Then it got worse; they refused to continue the job unless I took responsibility for their mistake and pay for the damaged lugs. Completely unacceptable. I took the other two tires to another shop, (I wasn't going to give them any more of my money) where the other 3 damaged studs snapped as well, confirming the issue. This cost me extra time, money, and a lot of frustration. Cross-threading lug nuts is basic negligence, and refusing to fix it shows zero accountability. I would not trust this shop with something as simple as a tire change.

Great experience overall. I had body work done on my car and replaced the wheels, and the results were excellent. The work was clean, professional, and done with great attention to detail. Customer service was also outstanding β very respectful, honest, and easy to deal with. They explained everything clearly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this shop. Iβll definitely be coming back.
